Readux founder and editor Amanda DeMarco is from Chicago. She is a writer, editor, and translator. You can read many of her articles about publishing here.

Fabian Eggers is from Leipzig. He studies in Berlin.

Emily Rocher is a freelance cultural and artistic consultant. Originally from France, she worked for two years at the Institut Français d’Egypte in Cairo before moving to Berlin.

Michael Stein is a writer and journalist in the Czech Republic. He writes a Central European litblog called literalab for Prague-based Czech Position magazine. His published articles are collected on the blog PragueatMidnight.

Jimmy Stirling is from Northamptonshire, England and a graduate in English Literature from Goldsmiths College, University of London. He currently lives and works in Berlin.

Rachel Simkover, book enthusiast and artist, was raised in California, educated in upstate New York, and currently lives and works in Berlin.

Catherine Stupp is from New York City. She studied literature there and in Berlin, where she currently works for a small publishing house, occasionally translates and edits, and reads a lot of great books.

Technical support provided by Stefan Tietz. He studies computer programming in Berlin, where he has lived for over a decade.

Contributing to Readux

Readux focuses on contemporary book culture. So while we think it’s great that you have a lot of thoughts on Thomas Mann or whatever, unless those thoughts are rather specifically tied to some current issue/publication/event, Readux is probably not the venue for you.
